Legend's NFL Game Picks Contest: Week 2

Cant pick against my giants.

Truth. I'll pick them all year, I don't care haha. Brandon Jacobs is back...2 Predictions? Runs the ball 15 years then starts a fight. Runs the ball 2 yards, gets taken out at the knee for a season ending injury. He is a distraction and a target. Would have made a better TE.

So some things I learned from this week.

Pats looks like they are in trouble. They need to get some sticky gloves for the receivers or better ones. Jets didn't look terrible but I don't know if Mark Sanchez is going to be the answer they are looking for.

Falcons are looking good. I knew it'd be a good game and the Rams are looking good too, but like I said the Falcons had it figured out way before the Rams did.

I said if the Ravens couldn't beat the Browns they were in trouble. They still might be. The 14-6 win just wasn't that impressive and they really need to work on their offence.

Panthers are in trouble and Buffalo is looking good.

I said the Bears would hold AD to under 100 and I was almost right. They held him to just 100 yard but it was every other area of the game that the Vikings almost beat the Bears in. However, the Bears kept it together and got the win. Looking to them improving, same with the Vikings.

Redskins aren't looking great. RG3 is struggling and their defense is giving up big points. Greenbay is looking like a solid team like always.

Colt didn't play terrible but the Dolphins are a complete team (unlike what I said) and look to them possibly upsetting the Pats for the division title.

The Cowboys were held to 47 yard rushing which forced the game into Romo's hands. I knew he wouldn't be able to get it down after taking a rib crushing hit last week. The Chiefs look legit and teams shouldn't look to them as a gimme.

The Chargers are being gifted points. Watched all of the Texans/Charges and the points they Texans allowed were just bad. I watched most of the Eagles/Chargers and the defense for the Eagles was bad (really bad Safety and Corner Back play). That being said, if the Eagles can score 30+ points a game, they could win, but look at the teams that can score just as many and the Eagles are probably out of it. Next week the Chargers will face a good defense in the Titans, that'll be a true test IMO.

Maybe the he Texans aren't the team to beat in the AFC south. They looked ok and their rookie wide receiver is going to open things up for Andre and vise verse but the Titans D kept them locked up for most of the game until the game tying drive and the game winning TD. I'm disappointed in the Offensive play calling for the Titans. Ball on the 1 yard line, run it and almost give up a safety. 2nd play, ball on the 1 yard line, run it and almost give up a safety. 3rd play, ball on the 1 yard line, pass it for what looks like a 18 yard gain, over turned by penalty. 4th play (still 3rd down), run it and give up safety. Are you kidding me? That and late in the fourth they tried playing conservatively and they just blew it. Take the training wheels off Jake Locker. That and the Defensive play calling at the end of the 4th was bad too. They went to prevent defense and didn't prevent crap. Hopefully they learned from this game and go 15-1 for the rest of the season. Hopeful thinking, I know. :<

Saints are going to be the bi-polar team of the year. Did great against the Falcons, almost lose to the Bucs. All I can say is if they have a bad day, expect them to do poorly. The Bucs are literally two mins away from winning each of there first two games, and let it slip away. Hopefully they work on there two mins defensive drills and can pull it together for the rest of the year.

The Lion's RB Reggie Bush was injured early in the game and that pretty much sealed it from there. The dual threat of the ground and air game is what made them threatening and once the ground game was gone, the Cards but all of their chips on guarding the air. The Cards own Air game got them the win, no surprise with WR they have.

The Broncos are the adjustment team. Play well in the first half and the dominate in the second half once they know their opponent and can make the adjustment they need. Eli should be worried about the number of picks he has thrown so far (a record 7) and needs to to adjust accordingly.

The Raiders don't look so dumb now with Terrelle Pryor at the QB position. They might have their first legit QB in a long time. However, playing against a struggling Jags team helps. Failing to score a TD in their first 2 games, the Jags are looking into a long and struggling season.

I hate to say it but I knew the Hawks would win but I didn't want to believe it. The 49ers just looked too good against Greenbay and the Hawks looked terrible against Carolina that it seemed like the 49ers would get the win. Had I known the Hawks fans were going for a world record in noise level yesterday, I'd have gone with the Hawks. Also, think its safe to say the Hawks at home might be unbeatable.

Looking forward to tonight's game. I want to see how the Steelers try and bounce back after their lose the to the Titans and I want to see how the Bengals Offence plays against a good Steelers Defense.
