HID Compliant Mouse to GearHead (Separate Mouse Driver Install Question/Help?)

Mouse: MPT3200RED-CP10 Gearhead

I have the separate mouse driver on disk, but how do I effectively "install" the driver itself without having this Microsoft driver. Do I really need it?
