Zep are back and on the stage shortly at the O2 concert arena in the UK. I would have given alot to have gone to that. I hope like hell they put it out on DVD. Jason Bonham is drumming for them. Page, Plant, Jones and Bonham...
I feel like I am 16 again, and my friend is showing me his ticket to go see Zep, and then the news falls on us like a cement wall...
Here's hoping a tour is in the works and they blow the roof off that place. ZEP RULES!!!!
 
I'm hoping it sparks a whole tour as well...maybe one that crosses the Atlantic even.
 
Everything that has been said so far indicates this is a one time shot, one bloody concert on some island across the sea. So uncool.
 
Just hoping it sparks an interest to fly across the pond and maybe do a show or 3 here in the states. More than 1,000,000 people tried to get the 20,000 available tickets. That's a pretty damn good draw for band that 'quit' ~27 years ago.
 
Well, exactly there were 9 million persons trying to obtain a ticket for a show that seems to become a world tour. Just have to wait to Bonham Jr. to finish touring with Foreigner. After reviewng seems to be a great re-enactment of Led Zeppelin.
 
No offense to Foreigner, well, I don't really give a crap about them, never liked them anyway, but they can find a drummer to fill those lame riffs almost anywhere. Jason has found his calling, behind dad's drumkit. Hmmm... Tour with Zeppelin, see millions of fans, or tour with Foreigner and fill some small stadiums, maybe...
 
Sheik you're right, but seems to be some kind of "agreement", so he must finish that. Meanwhile we save some money for a ticket.
 
Count me in. They come stateside, I am there. Even if I have to sell a kidney. My friend back in high school (yes, this will date me), had a ticket to the show back in 1980, I was living in Chicago at the time and was awestruck by it... then it happened and the ticket was never used..
From all reports it was beyond staggering, bombastic, hammer of the gods back in full swagger, ass kicking rock and roll. (which they closed the show with).
Let me repeat this, I will be there. Certain things in life have passed me by, this will not.
