This is why you never start with the multiplayer. You start with the campaign, move into zombies (now aliens via extinction), maybe play some survival (safeguard), and then when you're drunk you play multiplayer.

BF4, ANYTHING made on Frostbite is crap. Sure it may look beautiful and have destructible environments, but the netcode and optimization are complete crap.

CoD, self explanatory... CoD hasn't been good since WaW... Every year it's the same ol crap... the only thing that changes is the maps and the way you customize your classes. Which basically means that you're paying $60 for a yearly DLC...

I haven't played bf4 yet, working on getting the other ones first. But you are completely right with COD. I was hardcore in cod waw, but everything else after that pretty much sucked. And I have had no desire to ever buy the cod series again.

I have looked into both of these games for ages now and over hours and hours of research I still cannot decide what one to get..... I love battlefield because of 64 player maps with huge diversity within them but also call of duty has small compact close up action which is also super thrilling!
