Bad Company 2 Could not Login Soldier ???

Just got the error at login...."Could not login soldier".

Checked the servers via listing and they all appear empty.

Does this mean all of EA is down or something?

I got home last night and logged in no problem. Still have all my character attributes etc. etc. Of course, the server was EMPTY which I found weird.....

TOday people are playing but under new names....

Apparently EA burned out one of their disk arrays which contained a large number of player IDs on it. I guess mine was elsewhere.....

Strangely enough, all three of my soldiers get the "could not login soldier" but I'm able to login with the soldier my son uses when he plays. It's a consistent thing, too. And I was soooo looking forward to using the =e= for the first time tonight. :]

Still can't login at 8:25 PM in Texas. I might just have to go outside and shoot real things instead of pixels.
