Can someone draw me a picture and explain in great detail how the playoffs shall work?

Like, im totally confused and more confused after googling it.

flipping ask.com, wait im sorry, about.com..

So its top 3 teams of american plus the 2 wild cards, then same for national.

So its wild vs wild = 1 of the contenders then its 1v1 and 1v1 and 1v1 and 1v1 or 1v3 or ? *this is where my head explodes*

I shall pay you in 1 scrap metal if you play tf2.

Each league will host 1 wildcard game that has the 2 highest winning percentage teams that didn't win their divisions. The winners of those games will face the #1 seed which out of the 3 divisions in their league with the highest winning percentage. The 2nd and 3rd will also face off. That is called the divisional series. The winner of the #1 vs wildcard winner will face the winner of the #2/#3 game in the league championship series. Winner of that games goes on to the world series. The same happens in both the American and National league.

Here is an overview.

What Tumblin said. the two wildcard teams will play a one-game playoff to determine who faces the #1 seed in their respective division. the Division series are a best-of-5 format, while the championship series and World series are a best-of-7.

also, go KC :3

Ok, so the rays beating baltimore over and over will help them when they most likely play baltimore again in a few weeks. Then play boston? Then beat boston because you know, rays are hot boston is cold. Then bam, rays vs, bob barker and the tonight show band.

then rays win world series, everyone then goes for pancakes and laughs about it.
