We have had quite a few good ideas here... there will be a small vent meeting Monday evening to get a makeshift schedule of ideas. All are welcome to that. We will grab a handful of ideas and then get some volunteers for the following night, Tuesday. Look forward to hearing your thoughts tomorrow night!

I really wish these "impromptu" meetings would get a vote on when to have it. Don't think it's really fair to just have surprise meetings. It doesn't give many people the opportunity to make the meeting. :bored:

Yeah, I failed my last year of school due partly because I was staying up too late. got (BBD). Events used to be like 80% of my DoDs playtime, but no more midweek events for me, I'm just going to the realisms if I can.

I don't know if a 7/6pm event start time is way too early to get people playing?

One thing I found out when I was captain of the scrim team tourney, is that it is impossible to please everyone... and that was only 6 or 7 people. With so many that Im sure have ideas, it would be very hard for everyone to agree on something. How about Friday, sometime in the evening. Most people are on, or can be on then. Its better to schedule it with some warning, and whoever can make it will be there, and those that cant, are free to PM me any ideas that they have. Is that acceptable?

sure... I will set up a soft start time of 8pm, just in vent... I will make a room and hang out there. If people show up and want to get started, thats cool, but if anyone plans on sharing some thoughts, 9pm would sort of be official. I dont know how long it will take- could be 20 minutes, could be an hour... I wouldnt want to go past that, if possible. I am going to open it up to all of you, and Im going to take notes. Many of you have been here longer than I... perhaps you can remember a fun event that you did one time. Or have something you have wanted to see for a while. I think it will be good. Then, the following time that we meet, we will go to the event server and hammer out some details.

Alrighty- thanks to all who came and gave input. I have a list with 12 things on it, for consideration and testing. Soon, this week sometime, perhaps later in the week, we will take some time and work in the event server.

I will schedule it for later, and I am thinking that anyone can come. However, fair warning, if you are screwing around and not taking it seriously, odds that you will be kicked are fairly high...

Hopefully we can get through the list quickly, and then perhaps get some more ideas. Maybe going through the motions will shake loose some creative juices from our brains.

I'll keep ya posted.

I should be playing events more. Over all I would say my activity is down since I got my G. It should really be the other way around.

My health is kinda bringing me down and I do not really want to bring my grumpy attitude into the game.

I will try to make the events more of a priority.

Im not going to promise anything, and without any notice, I dont expect much... but if I can find a handful of people this evening, we will go and try out some of the ideas that I have in front of me. If not, we will certainly do it on Tuesday.
