Opera Initial Load - Problem

Hey there fellas, recently downloaded the Opera browser, and I'm loving it (as these forums now actually load properly, plus it's just spiffy.)

But I've encountered a problem. I have it set to load the homepage when I open up Opera, but it doesn't. Well --- it DOES, but when I double click the icon and it opens up, at the top it says it's loaded my homepage and I know it has, it just doesn't display it. It just displays the blank background for the skin I'm using. If I right click that space and hit "customize" everything appears, but not on it's own as it's undoubtedly supposed to.

Suggestions?

I use opera and love it. Its sounds as if it is potentially a problem with the skin you are using. Which version of opera are you useing? I say it sounds liek the skin because, its not opera actually loading the page, you said it just instantly appears when you go into customize right? There is a small chance its not the skin but I would try another skin. I usually use a skin but i think ive just been using th ebase skin set to a different color and I dont have that problem - but it does sound liek somehting opera would do.

I also believe its the skin that is the problem because at school i use the Opera Browser and its great.
