I don't understand why more people don't go medic. I'm getting plenty of points as a medic!

PS. That's 50k healing for something like an hour and half of playing. I don't know if that actually is a lot, but it makes me proud. :D

Ya, I love medic man, the problem is, a lot of the people I heal aren't that smart and they just let people get behind me and let them kill me, those dang enemy spies don't help either. Which is why I've come to the conclusion that I shall only play medic if the people on my team utilize me properly.

Why when you go uber as a medic....why does the person go after things like, scouts....

theres a greater good here!!!! Like the Sentries....or taking the control point!

@Acid: I was a medic from the map reset (which I think was at 4 pm EST) until 5:30, when I got off, so all the points I earned were as a medic.

@finkledoodle: I surprisingly wasn't stabbed as much as one might think during that stint. Probably 'cause I was moving around so much, and any time I did see a spy, I spamed the "It's a spy" warning like crazy. I also didn't heal just one person, I kinda held back and just healed injured players as they came to me.

@china: Oh yeah, there were definitely a few times I uber'd someone and they went to finish off one guy as opposed to destroying the three sentries in the immediate area. To be fair, there were also a few times I lost the guy I was uberin' and got him killed because of it.

ya... it wasn't just spies, and you can't dodge pyros real easily. I never heal just 1 person either, I always heal people low on health first. It doesn't help if you hang back, because a lot of the time they'll be dead before they get to you, you gotta be up at the front healing people when they need it most! As for the spies, it brings me back to the reason why I'm not a medic a ton: when I do tell people that there is a spy, they ignore it and I have to fight the spy instead

I don't like playing medic, I'd rather blow up and kill stuff. Still, if there aren't any medics on my team, I'll take a hit and be the medic.

When I first played TF2, I played as Medic more than anything, because I didn't like playing very aggressive and thought it was a pretty safe position.

Then, I started to get a little spy-paranoid, and now when I play Medic, I'm always facing the other direction as the person I'm healing and tend to move and jump around to make a Spy's job harder.
