Incorrect Steam playtime counter.

Is anyone else having incorrect, or no playtime counter at all on your Steam library? All of my games have correct date on when I last played them, but most of them don't have a timer on how many hours I've played the game. I tried playing one game (DoD: Source), then it's showing the correct time for a few moments. I remember that I only have 102 hours clocked on that game, but now it's showing that I played it for 110 hours already. XCOM: EU says that I've played it for 9 hours, when I just tried it for 30 minutes then never played again.

On some games, it actually reset the whole counter back to zero. It's weird to see my Team Fortress 2 say that I've played it for about 10 minutes, when I played TF2 for more than 400 hours.

I had this problem before, and hopefully it would fix by itself again after a while. I'm wondering if anyone is currently experiencing, or has experienced this problem. It's bugging me for a bit, because I like keeping track on how long I've played a game.

Yeah, it's not showing everything correctly for me. I'm not that worried to be honest though. Most likely it's a server side issue with Steam, or something related to an update that went through recently.

I just realized something. The time played shows up correctly when you take a look from your steam profile. The timer is only messed up on your steam library and in the overlay in game. I also think it's probably a problem from the latest update, and will be fixed whenever the next update will be.

OK, so I guess the new update did fix it. Thanks Valve for that.

The past few weeks/month or so this has been a known issue with Valve, I'm assuming due to user-error in a big update, then later fixed in a misc. update.
