council isnt supposed to leave your house, your too important :P cool car

Bah, cars... Bicycles, now that's something interesting. This is my ride

thats epic bro, what's your TS on that b line

Topspeed? On the main straight (where you see the start finish line) about 105mph or so on average. I honestly didn't look at the speedometer much. I used to do that and mentally trapped myself into a speed / pace. I prefer to go as fast as the car and conditions will let me (or the feeling of speed) than push for a number. It makes me smoother and more consistent. The only reason I know that stat is someone had asked my speed / stated theirs after the first session and I had no idea so I made it a point to look. This actually screwed me up a bit in the 3rd session I started braking at 103-105 and tried to scrub off speed down to get down about 65mph or so for the first turn (per their recommendation) and with my sketchy brakes it just wasn't happening. I ended up taking a wider line and would bleed off speed that way for turn 2. I also started shooting for that speed because I'm competitive and didn't want to be "slower" lol.

I wish I had video of the 2nd session.. there was a reason my brakes were fried.. I was much much more aggressive and it was probably cooler to watch but I was actually faster lap time wise in the 3rd session. I was building up more speed but over braking to compensate in the 2nd session. I was forced to maintain a higher average speed with less top end speed in the 3rd session (less brakes to actually stop to make the corners) which is why you see me following the race line but going very wide try to take a constant radius rather than perfect apexing.... Getting nerdy here. I need another track day already... getting twitchy.

I've been wanting to try out road racing for a while now.

My cars mostly stock suspension though would be a nightmare.

Ty, I spent about 4 years saving up for it. And now technically it is "old tech" in the bike industry :blushing: but still a killer bike.

If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for it?

Well, retail it's about a $9,000 bike new, but since I work for a bike shop I got it for roughly half of that. But Shhhhhhhh don't tell anyone.

My friend just got a new CBR1000 for $11,000. I think for the extra two grand, I'd go with the one that has a 1L engine attached to it.
