OK STORY TIME NOW!
On September 20th, 2012, I was awake early in the morning, playing TF2. I was fairly new to the game, playing offline practice since I didn't have the courage to play against actual people just yet. I was browsing through servers that were still full in the mornings (as no server was ever full at that time of day) and stumbled upon =(eGO)= 24/7 2FORT. It was full with 24 out of 24 players. I waited like five minutes to get on, but it was worth the wait. I met several nice people and and had a fun time playing. I saved that server to my favorites faster than a baby honey-badger flung out of a trebuchet. Weeks later, on October 16, a nice young fellow named Curly.q13 asked me if I would like to join eGO! I said yes and got onto the site and registered. I wore that shiny new =(e)= tag with pride and honor. I played for months and then on January 16, 2013 another nice young fellow named Perwild told me I wasn't an =(e)= member since my application somehow did not go through and I had to register. He helped me actually register and I was admitted as an actual =(e)=. I was promoted to an =(eG)= five days later. Then stuff happened and something about a wizard mountain came to pass. I got my =(eGO)= as well as chocolate apocalypse and something along the lines of kitty ninja motorized scooters and whatnot happened. And that's how I became a horse. The End
On a more serious note, today marks my* one year anniversary in the wonderful world of edge-gamers. In all of my 365 days here, I've never met any group of people who have been more nice, friendly, and hospitable as you guys. Some of you may not know this, but I have social anxiety and I find it hard to talk to new people in real life sometimes. Edge-Gamers allows me to talk to strangers and become friends with them without the fear of being judged, and I thank you all for that. All I can really say is thank you for all that you've done, and I love you guys like family.
