My LCD's aren't too old (the Dell is from 2003 and the Westinghouse I got on sale this Thanksgiving), so I'm afraid I can't be too much help there.

Fortunately, spending money right now on computer gadgets is inconsequential compared to how much I have to pay for college tuition.

Sometimes...I used to oc quite a bit until I put an X2 in the system and since then I just haven't found the need to. I also do a lot of testing and development on my system so I need it to be rock hard stable. I'll oc at LAN parties once and awhile just for fun, but the main purpose of the water cooling was to quiet the system down and help it run a little cooler in my steamy apt.

It doesnt compare to some of these setups, but at least I have a stick grenade :P Hope to be getting a new mouse and keyboard soon as well.

Dude what a good idea! Have a WWII themed dining room, but you gotta make sure you have pepper written in german on the nade !amazed
 
Ugh, don't buy dell. I made that mistake on my first computer, and upgrading was nearly impossible. I was only able to salvage the RAM, HDD, and CPU.
