Install/Uninstall/Update Hang On Steam

So I've have been having problems ever since the new Steam Pipe came online. Usually it's only been DOTA 2 that I've been having problem updating (have to fully delete and reinstall it), but now it seems Garry's Mod 13 won't uninstall at all (Freezes), however I just now got it removed by using CCleaner to launch the uninstaller and force it to delete itself from Steam. CSS won't budge while trying to build the local game caches at all. It's really annoying and I've tried:

Flushing Steam config files.
Changing the download server.
Deleting the blob files.

Any other tips on how to get this bugger going? :facewall:


Update: I've just decided to redl the entire thing as somehow trying to move my games over corrupted the entire folder. Hopefully a full reinstall will clear these issues.

Yeah, everything seems to be running fine. Cleared out the whole thing. However, DOTA 2 still hangs on updates and with them rolling out updates so frequently now it's getting quite annoying having to delete and reinstall it just to play it.

Also previously having to reinstall stuff it forced me to always convert it to the new steam format, but with everything reinstalled it automatically does it when installing and downloading it. So, at least that works out nicely.

Oh and since I cleaned up everything I've come from like 10 gigs of HD to like 60 with everything back and more installed.

I've never had any problems with any updates with DOTA2 yet... If the problem persists you should contact Steam with an email regarding you current issues and see if they can help you out. All I know is I'm tired of STEAM installing updates every time I turn on my computer now. Let us know if you figure it out. Good Luck.
