What's the story behind your name?

I can't remember if I replied to this post already or not so I applogize if I already did (memory is not what it used to be!). I used to run a small TF2 clan with some real-life friends and we decided to have a theme for all of our names rather than using a clan tag. We ended up going with Megaman boss names. Crashman is one of the cooler bosses from Megaman 2 (awesome game) and it seemed like a good name for a gaming handle so that's what I went with. It's a relatively new name for me but I expect to use it for a long time to come. (By the way, Mars Volta rocks!)

Way back in the day when I used to play Counter-Strike, I originally used the name Frorg (a shout out to KOL). I'm not a very good CS player, and I would get really pissed about constantly being sniped by 12 year old kids using AWPs who would shout out about how badly they just pwnt you in their squeaky voices. So I changed my name to match my facial expression.

It needed a good nickname so i just put togheter some random letter and... wasawiki. sounds good to me :p

one thing I've wondered... how exactly do you pronounce your name then??

snakely was my first ever online name. i am into snakes and currently have 8 at home. i didn't want to be just snake-and i'm a girl-so i thought the ly on the end made it sound cool and a little more girly. it stuck, and i still like it, and i've yet to come across another snakely!

well back in the day when halo (the first one was popular) i had the name sharpshooter67...when i joined a halo clan my name had to be shortened because of the length....i shortened it to sharpshooter...then l8er on i shortened it to sharp...then l8er on i added alt codes to make it look cooler...and any of you that pronounce my name as sharb again after reading this post...i will kill you again on TF2...lolz anyway so yeah...

I love the band Daft Punk and I love the song Digital Love. Digitalfeeling comes from that song. :P In contradiction to what most people think the name comes from.

Easy. I'm Canadian :p. And Besides, I just thought of a name that was clever and shows where I'm from :) Canada !!!

Family nickname, starting with my father. I'm sure I've posted this before, but I'll go ahead and point out again that my last name is 13 letters long, French, and apparently only Bubbles can pronounce it...so Moose became a much more sought after alternative. :)

i needed a random name so i looked at an orange mountain dew cap...and than tag just popped into my head so i was like "orangetag001" and than i took the 001 part off just recently

Woodstock - Well I like Peanuts. When i visited a friends house and borrowed a computer to play COD there Woodstock was the first name that popped into my head. It has stuck ever since.

I know what you mean. I'm pretty sure I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for clearing that up Ephyu. How do you pronounce it exactly?

Well... I'm not sure that we're allowed to say those sorts of things over the forums... :)
