What's the story behind your name?

When I was young and foolish I used to steal.

It's also a play on the Simpsons reference "Gamblor"

I stole it from MapleStory. At the very start there was an NPC called Sen, then I took it, and everyone forget about him after they finished the tutorial, I really liked it, so I used it.

mine screen name has quite a bit of history actually......it all started back about 8 years ago when I started online gaming with Everquest, I was making my character but couldn't think of a good name for him. I probably sat there for at least an hour trying to think of a name, now while this was happening the rest of my family was watching The Mummy, and the Egyptian god Anubis came up more than once, I thought the name was really cool but Everquest had a name policy that didn't allow me to use Anubis. I then decided to try a play on the name, Anewbus and it worked, I've used the name ever since....heck it's even my email address now :P

I swear I posted on this thread, but I must have been dreaming. Any ways...

I went to UW, and their mascot is a husky and the school color is gold and purple. I thought Purple.Huskies was a cool name, and using it ever since. I am using it over 10 years now. LOL

Well I started playing games back in 98, and one of the 1st games I played was Half-Life. Back then, in single player mode, I do not recall using a name other than the default player. Well when Counter-Strike came out, I started playing that. And the name 'player' was dumb heh. So I thought about it and could not thing of anything cool. So I stuck to the basics. This is a shooting game, and I shoot.... Hrm.... The_Shooter! That is how my name came about! Great story eh?

I always went by Bill ..... my real name, then one day I decided to use Suicide_King,,,,,,,,,

Gotta love Walken

I ran a clan for 4-5 years... quite a successful league competitive clan... anyways my name was G0DF47H3R and the members called me g-man... so I later adopted the nickname as my in game name.

I built a new computer w/ an Abit IP-35 Pro motherboard. When it boots up, the boot screen for the mobo is an orange truck that says "Snake" on the side. The truck also appears [link=http://www.itsjohnnybravo.com/Overclocking/IP35%20PRO/Photos/DSCF0656.jpg]on the box[/link] for the IP-35 Pro. I've had another online gaming name for over a decade and thought I needed something new, plus, this new computer needed a second copy of Steam, and I wasn't feeling particularly creative or introspective that day, so I just used that. Ended up working pretty well, IMO.

My initial's are T.D. Got into an argument one night about the merits of Puff Daddy and his ridiculous P Diddy name change. Of course my roommates started calling me T Diddy, then it got shortened to tiddy. Lately it's been just tidds, but I'll just leave well enough alone.

On another forum, I was trying to think of a name. I though about trying to use a random name, then recognized that random was likely not the right term to use. I did a bit of english manipulation, and came up with "Arbitrarity", which I then shortened to an actual word here.

Ca$h Money came from a niclkname given to be from my friends at school. Since my last name is Cash it just stuck.

Black Mesa South is the last remaining evidence of a over zealous project I started a while back. Being a foolish kid I though I could get into the modding stuff by getting a little experience and finding some others to help me along. Anyway being a Half-Life fan residing in Texas I 'started' Black Mesa South productions. It soon became obvious that I was in way over my head and the project was abandoned. Hopefully it is merley postponed perhaps I can give it another go later.

I currently (and for as long as i have knew internet) use 2 nicknames. Some of you may know me as Smallboy03 (because i'm only 6 feet and 3 inches tall and because Smallboy was taken)

If you remember Starcraft in the old days of it's glory, the Firebat, a human character that was looking kinda like our beloved pyro, would say "Fire them" when you would ask him to attack someone.
I can even say: You are fired ^_^

Pour les français, je me surnomme aussi Vif-Argent dans les jeux médiévaux en français.
^_^

Sticky Jackson is a comic character I created back when I was 12, he was the protagonist of some sort to my comic STICKZ. He touched on real world problems and was a peice of my comedic side, and when I was thinking for an online name, it fit perfectly.
