What's the story behind your name?

ever since i saw jay and silent bob, my name has been lunchbox (cause jay calls silent bob lunchbox numerous times). but there's already a lunchbox in the clan (the guy who actually recruited me), so i had to change my name and silent bob seemed like a good choice.

the messed up thing is that lunchbox's name is zach too :| same game handle AND real name lol.
 
well,.. i had many names in all my games, CSS, HL2, DOD and others xD froma finalfantasy or similar things and games but i have this name because its a group of music and i like it very much and i like the sound of the name xD

In the original Halo, my friends and I would have what are essentially warthog wars. Each person gets into a warthog. You drive your opponent. If you have passengers, no one shoots. The point is to ram each other and try to flip the other into the air. Hopefully, when they land, they land in such a way that they fall out of the warthog. Now your job is to run them over before they get back in. They try to flip the warthog and get back in as quick as possible. If the unflipped person runs over the guy who fell out of his warthog, that kill is called a "bedurnk."

That's how it was with my friends. Since I helped create the term, and the guy who co-coined it already had a suitable gaming nickname (EmTea, his initials spelled phoenetically, Matthew Thomas (first and middle)) and my nickname irl is my last name and I don't want to give that out on a whim, bedurnk has been my gaming name ever since. Due to an error in registering for the Red vs. Blue forums, I changed it to b3durnk, which has stuck ever since.

I find the biggest problem with this term (which we didn't realize until I started going online with it often), is that people call it "be drunk" when reading it quickly. Thus I have to specify to any new group of players, such as I did in my app here, that is not the case and I do not endorse the act of drinking alcohol. :x

Complicated, no? But hey, I like complicated.
 
This name is very emo'ish(im a depressed teen) by default, however i look at it a bit differently. I usually go by raz0rskyl1n3 now though.

Note not trying to start any flaming just explaining my name.

My name is two part

Soul
Comes from the fact that in high school, i was very religious, not one of the nutty types, but had a close knit groups of friends at church. Also alot of people said i had a very nice personality, and sorta spiritual radiance bout me. (yeah i know its nuts but ive heard it a ton of times.) I also i feel the soul is what defines, us.

Nothing
Nothing is a character from one of my favorite books. (Lost souls, yeah there's a slight connection there). Secondly i feel without a soul, that are we merely empty husks. A soul/spirit defines who we are. Essentially your personality is within your soul, your compassion is in your soul, your being your essence etc.. This isn't from a religious point of view either. If we had no soul where would we be. That is what it comes down to essentially, if we had no soul where would we be.

Now it seems these two are a direct contradiction and they are. That is why i put them together, Essentially im saying we cant go lacking a soul. Even its minor, and you don't believe in it. It's there.
 
I honestly don't know how my name came to be. I usually have random names...like i start with a letter i rarely use, and just tap at the keyboard, look at what it is, and change it to sound...coolish. But with Neurofo (new-row-faux) I found it. I guess i came up with it before. I started playing SRO temporarily a few months ago(I hadn't played it for like a year and a half before that) and it was the name of my character. I thought it sounded cool, and now it's been my name for everything since.

thats when i went to dallas and got my ass kicked by fatal1ty, (i ranked 4th place, or 5th).. i think i got 50 bucks and a t-shirt or something...

one day on mercnet.org server, some mentally retarded kid kept talking about ketchup, ketchup ketchup ketchup, ketchup is good

Weeks is my 3rd name, and was what I got called most of the time in High School. *Really was kind of funny when I started ditching my English classes. Teacher - "Haven't seen him in weeks."*
 
Hmmm lets see here Joko. Well i like to take names from my brother like Phake Vital Caustic and others But this won has something behind it. My Brothers Name is Josh and my Last name is Kovitz So he Put together JOsh KOvitz and took the first two letters of his first and last name. Mine would be Hako cause my name is harrison but i liked Joko Better
 
ramatheson is R.A.Matheson without the periods. My name is Richard Alden Matheson. See? It's my initials. On the COD4 servers, I can't fit it all so Im just =(eGO)=rama
 
Made up a few months ago back in April this year. It was originally intended to be used only on the website I made it up for, but it stuck and became my username for pretty much everywhere
 
My name is from the movies HACKERS where a group of hackers stumble upon a worm stealing money that another hacker, The Plague, has setup with a cover as a security expert, the program he developed The Davinci virus was a program to capsize a large oil carrier and had a morphed form of Davinci's Man as a avatar. Hence my name.
