What's the story behind your name?

Ha I used to be into Sonic the hedgehog back in the day, and still am, but I decided to change the look, hence the E.
 
My friends use to call me "Calle" (It's actually Kalle, but since Carsten is spelled with a C, we changed it to Calle. Still the same pronounciation though) and one of my teachers calls me Captain.
So I just mixed that together and got Captain Calle.

One time a guy I know told me about how he used to hack in to people's channels in irc and how he did all kinds of "Tricky Ninja ****" (The stars being the s word) and that's where I got it.
 
I got WoW on release week and wanted to come up with a unique name. Not really sure how I created Daimek, but it does share alot of letters with my real name (Daniel) so maybe that had something to do with it...
 
I needed a name for bf2. At the time i had recently played Splinter cell - where you hide in the SHADOWS... standing STILL trying not to get caught. plus i'm a nocturnal being, I love astronomy so i constantly hang out in the SHADOWS of the night 'TILL morning lol. I'm also an amateur photographer - STILL pictures -
so... it all came together. I think it suits me well :D
 
My first name - P.T. Flea, is from the movie "A Bug's Life". I was walking through the living room one day, heard the name - it was suggested that I use it online and so I did. I used it for years.

Having been gone for 9 months, I have since requested it be changed to "Two Listen" upon my return. This name, has actual meaning behind it. Over the 9 month disappearance, I moved hundreds of miles across the country and left everything I had behind to be with the girl who became my fiance in May - whom I have known since I was 13. (And met online, no less!) We decided one night that when we got married, we didn't want to keep either of our present last names. We are both different from the rest of our families, we represent something different, something new. And so we decided we should come up with a last name that was different, and new - just like the family we would become on the day of our marriage.

We wanted it to start with an "L", because the character from Death Note is awesome and we think it sounds pretty. We looked up hundreds of different last names and didn't find any we liked - we had limits. We didn't want it to be too common, we wanted it to flow with both our first names, etc. After a week or two I came up with the idea of making it something more than just a name - making it almost a way of life, a constant reminder of that which was important. I came up with "Listen", and pitched the idea to my fiance with the reasoning that if more people listened to eachother, maybe people's relationships wouldn't suck so much. Also that it might keep us both from becoming someone who failed to listen, as everytime we signed a document, sent an email, received mail or anything - we would be reminded to Listen to eachother.

It also is one of the most uncommon last names we could find.

I needed to utilize this that would be our new last name, and so tried to create a new screenname for various things that revolved around it. I live my live in its entirety for her, and I found it important for everyone who knows me, to know this. I also didn't want people only to associate the name with me - because I am not just me, I'm not alone in anything that I do. Two also happens to be my favorite number. First, I tried some latin "Duo Audio", but that's the name of a company, I think. Flipped the words around but still wasn't fond of it. I then tried "Two Listen", the english version of the aforementioned - registered several email accounts to reserve the name, and here we are. A name that is (or at least will be) partially my own real name - and that also reminds me every time I kill someone or make a post, that there is more than just one Listen - there are two of us.

Yes, I am obsessed. And crazy as hell. Neat, huh?

Edit: As a side note, I also created a Listen logo for the both of us - I needed one with which to sign my artwork (I'm an artist). I created the one you see in my avatar and signature. It symbolizes our favorite letter, contains our name, and the design near the top resembles the design of the engagement ring I gave to her.

I Actually got the name blaze from a game called Def Jam Fight for NY in the ps2 And my favorite character was named blaze so there i got it and added justin to ahha
 
My name come around in TF2 cause i have so many hours of spy in so my old was something but i forgot it lol so i used Spy1 and my Friend is Spy2 :D
 
My name GagoloTh comes from star craft when your playing single player type in {radio free zerg} in that song Gagoloth is sad one time thats where i got my unique name..
 
I had broccoli cream soup once then after i got sick and i never like that soup ever again. And why would a person make a soup out of broccoli no one likes it as it is
and I'm the only one in the gammer's world that has that name

hmmmm... i dont really remember, only thing that makes sence was that i love muffins and i was pretty good at tf2. But i have lost my skills
 
I was using another name and was asked to switch it in server. This is what came out. I kinda like it I guess.

This is the 3rd in game name I've used since I started online gaming in '99. The first time I switched was due to someone basically stalking me and following me to whichever server I joined just to grief me. Bleh.
 
My name goes along with my Thursday night club night where I play music videos... 6 years and counting!
 
well, my name went through several evolutions before hemiboardr, lol. first... i had gotten the name Hemiman5150 for my first email. i had based it on my snowboard... it's model name was Hemi, and the brand was 5150, (and im a male.. duh). and then it changed to hemi5nipe... which i ultimatley thought was too incredibly stupid.... and then i had changed it to hemi45 because 45 was my dirtbike racing number, and was still hooked on my snowboard. after that i think i put it to one more stupid name, but then finally wound up with hemiboardr... hemi (still being my snowboard) and boardr (as in snowboarder) hehehe
