What's the story behind your name?

Started listening rap music when I started to play basketball. Everywhere in the names there stood (explicit). For those that don't know what this means it shows that there are bad words in the song. I started to be explicit too so everyone called me The Explicit One. I thought I'd make it cooler and I started to call myself XpliciT. In games, my best friends used to call me that, and the name stuck to me.
 
Oh I was also called Lincoln. Me and my friends' group was called the Presidents' Club (got the name off of True Crime NYC) and they called me Lincoln so...

Use to be "Wiggles" but when i tried to make this account said it was being used. After 5 minutes of cursing and wondering what to do next. I went to play WoW and one guy had his name like this. It was kind of cool so i chose it. :D
 
I really like hoodies? :D Pretty simple, not much else to it.
I've used it as a name for a long time now.
 
I was bored and had a sock lying around. i proceeded to photograph said sock and add bits to it in mspaint, this eventually lead to a crown being attached to said sock, and so Lord sock was born.

I made mine by mixing up the mascot of my favorite operating system..Linux. The mascot's name is Tux but everyone has Tux and I wanted to be unique .. so I moved some letters around and became xTu. If you want a real laugh though, I have a more common real life nick name.. it's Savage - why? because if I let my hair grow out I look like Fred Savage (FAIL) so I shave my head bald :)

Me and two other friends had all just bought DoD and were in my basement playing it. We decided we should all have related names but couldn't come up with anything. We then realized the movie was playing in the background and thus our names were born.
 
gotta love my name, SmokeyDaBear is my rave name! it was given to me by a fellow raver who noticed i smoked alot!
 
I saw an internet TV show called Samurai SMACK, and after that i just thought it soudned cool lol
 
I used to play Medal of Honor: Allied Assault years ago. One time, I was on a server, and I was playing horribly... so thinking that it couldn't possibly get any worse, I decided to play using only a pistol.

About 10 minutes later, I was leading the game with roughly 62 kills and 30 deaths. 2nd place had 50 kills. What's worse is that I achieved that only using a pistol.

The name just stuck. :p
 
Back when I started gaming online, I tried to come up with a handle, and I was expressing my distaste for my mother forcing religion down my throat and the subsequent exploration of atheism, I chose to go with HeavenKiller... in order to play the game with a second account (acting like I was HeavenKiller's brother) I created HellSlayer to go with it... HeavenKiller was the first and it has stuck with me since, being my handle in every online game I've played save for a short stint in JK2 when my friends and I created a new clan and we donned new names and I became Joruus C'Both in the clan DFR (Dark Force Rising)...
 
Heh. In middle school I was earning extra credit in English class by writing short stories of a magic-using dragon mercenary (this was middle school) named Draco. I felt the name was WAY too cliche so I thought up a full name, Draco Akisohida Ky'Reath. After awhile, I started using Akisohida online.

I can't believe in the months I've been here that I've never seen this thread, but I had fun trashing all of my previous morning plans to sit for over an hour reading it. :)

As for myself, I am dating Thunderhorse in real life. One day last summer he forced me to play his online games, and had already created my name for me before I could even decide. If I had to choose what my screen name would have been, it probably would have been tree, or something along those lines, because both my first and last name are a type of tree. (I'll leave you to guess what kind though) ;)
 
I just got mine from LBG, Sackboy...translated into sackman..and i love to sack cities in games like medieval 2 :D
 
Well Fuego means fire in spanish and i like fire so thats the first part and the second part my wife thought i was Chinise when she first met me lol so i added the san at the end making my name FUEGOSAN hehehe and that is my story

about a year and a half ago i was a Lance Corporal in the Marine corps. i was then reduced (busted down) to Private First Class for being charged with Assault, or Article 128 in the UCMJ. im now a lance corporal again (go me!) and decided that because of my actions i should learn from it... by hurting more ppl virtually lol.

hence the name Artikul (128)
