Bios on the extreme 3

Hello good people of you, i am wondering if i should update my bios to anything..

Asked on another site and got the answer, why would you want to update your drivers...

From personal experience, you should only update the bios if it you absolutely need too. Im saying this because ive bricked my share of mobos on accident because i had no idea what i was doing. Vent said you owe me a cookie now.

I would always have the latest BIOS. At this point they generally fix more issues than they could create. I've had BIOS updates fix issues I didn't even know existed until after the update.

Would i start from 1.1 or go straight to 1.8?

You can go straight to 1.8 bios if you want. However, if you have issues running the new bios, it's helpful to scale up to the version that last works right for you. So in short; go for 1.8, but if you have problems, work from a prior version up to it.
