Battlefield 3 BF3 Platoons

Hey hey,

Figured out there are platoons on battlelog, lol. Anyway, there are 5 different Edgegamers Platoons, A B C D and just Edgegamers. What is the difference between those.

And what is the benefit of being in a platoon?

I believe those are the same....just amount of people who used to be in eGO or still is but aren't playing BF3 any more.

The only benefit was if had clan wars there would be announcements that you could see, other than that there is't really a benefit.

Also for those people who don't always jump on the forums before logging into Battlefield. Gives them a chance to see or get in touch through direct chat. Rather than waiting for PM's. I'm sure we will be filling out New Platoons in BF4 with active / returning members.

So can you join other people through those platoons? Because Im always looking for people to play with, since going alone in bf3 is rather stupid.

Yes, but some of those platoons require invites. And I think the max amount of people is around 100. The most active platoon for eGO BF3 is probably the recruiting one. I'll get you a link when I get off work.

Try joining this, and get a bunch of our profiles off of this, then it will be easier to transfer everyone over to BF4

Require an invite from the platoon leader you mean? And that one is the most active platoon even tho it has the fewest members? thanks btw for the reply.

They never really got updated unfortunantly which is a bit understandable due to the "work" envolved but stil a shame

That probably most active one since it was made later on.
however, that may be not true since most players are playing BF4 now..
