Edgegamers Launches Battlefield 4 Servers!
After a long and exciting preparation, the newest edition to the Battlefield series is here. Battlefield 4 throws you into massive 64 player battles, spanning dynamic maps to challenge your skills and demonstrate your strengths. With a versatile game play, there is a place for everyone to succeed and bask in the spoils of victory. Battlefield 4 Beta gave a glimpse into this epic throw down between friend and foe. We are proud to announce the release of Edgegamers Battlefield 4 servers. For you, your friends, and for all those who join in on the awesome battles taking part on our servers, we wish you luck. Our leadership team has been revamping and are in the midst of improving the Edgegamers mood with tournaments, recruiting drives and much more. It is our pleasure to welcome the third installment to the Battlefield Division. The game everyone is excited for, Battlefield 4.
Servers
We are very excited to announce that we are entering into a collateral relationship with Level Battlefield, Global Conflict, Team Symthic and 21st Century Warfare. These are among the premier communities in Battlefield and will bring forth a huge amount of oppurtunities for your enjoyment, and experience. Edgegamers members will have access to tournaments and events hosted by these communities. Relationships are built on the battlefield, through grit and dirt, fighting inch for inch for the next objective. You will see familiar faces from these communities at public tournaments, and subsequently on our servers. These pillars of the battlefield community are being united to bring the ultimate experience to your gaming adventures. All these organizations attract a different crowd and are geared towards a different experience in Battlefield therefore there will be less commonality and will give members a chance to test out different flavours of Battlefield. Please welcome members of all these organizations onto our servers and Ventrillo. It is important that we build a strong relationship not only on the leadership level but also on the member level. Various popular youtubers and Battlefield personalities are aligned with these organizations, so keep smiling as you never know when you will end up on Youtube !
Now moving onto the actual BF4 servers, we are launching with three 64 slot servers. Each sever is equipped with the long awaited Commander Mode, as well as support for four spectators. We will be starting with two servers in North America and 1 in Europe . This is our first push to expand our European footprint. The links and configs are as listed below :

Events
Look forward to monthly tournaments! A new program headed by SuperJ569 will undertake bringing you a fresh and exciting tournament each month. Tournaments will cycle between BC2, BF3 and BF4. We have openings and are looking for motivated eGO admins to step up and apply to become an EC (here)
Competitive Team
BF4 will have a much more active competitive scene and Edgegamers plans to take part in as many competitive events as possible. We are looking for new competitive players to fill up a 32 player team. This team will be holding its first match around the end of November. The competitive structure will be as follows :
32 Player Team Bracket : Open to all, 2 matches per month. Practices twice every week.
10 ? 20 Player Bracket : Open to all but recruiting only when players required. 2 matches per month. Practices twice every week.
5 ? 10 Player Bracket : Invite only, depending on performance in larger brackets and team requirement. Tournament based. 3-4 Practices every week.
Our larger teams will compete in a more informal setting against teams that that field large numbers. We will continue on the division structure in the 32 team. More announcements to follow.
The 5-10 bracket will be for the most dedicated players in eGO, those who are prepared to put in a lot of practice time. This team will compete in the professional tournaments in the competitive scene.
Don't fret too much about time commitments, we want everyone to play and have fun. We will occasionally be engaging in pick up matches and inter-clan matches.
Recruiting
As always recruiting is essential in maintaining a strong community and ensuring that our future is secure. We are looking to volunteers to be part of a new recruiting team. We hope to share our experience with edgegamers with all of those who connect to our servers. Look forward to weekly drives, and regular recognition to the top recruiters in the division.
In Conclusion
We would like take this time to recognize some people. First and foremost our members, from the newest e?s to our veteran eGO?s, you are the reason of our continued success and the real force behind Edgegamers. Thank you for all the hard work and long hours you have put into the servers and the community. We would be nothing without you. The unrelenting success of BC2 and BF3, where we at one time had servers in the top 10 in the world for both games is testament to the passion of our players, and you. We have been working hard in the back-end over the past year to bring better, lag-free servers to Edgegamers. Admin training and administrative works by the Advisors is no easy task, and we thank you. From us, your battlefield leadership team, we thank our members who demonstrate what we stand for, here at Edgegamers, to the community at large.
