Look at how many people are only left from the "original" cast. Only four people, though I wish they'd tell us what happened to the kid and the dad when Rick gained conscious from the coma. Looking at it, they forgot Carol. :confused1:

That too and a quite of few others including the Morales who were with them outside of Atlanta, however they separated from the group and haven't seen anything on them since, such as the dad and the boy in the beginning when Rick wakes up.

So glad we didn't lose anyone of the main cast. However, the governor seems to be close by. Closer than I thought he would be. I bet he's the one moving the horde in.

The dad is still alive, and his son is dead. There was the episode or two I think last season where Rick, Carl, and Mischonne went to that one town and there were all the traps for the walkers, and the heavily armored guy on the roof in black armor. He explains how he lost his son to walkers and had to kill him.

I did see it indeed. Though it patched up a bunch of things and brought back the governor, I felt it was a rather boring episode.

It wasn't too boring, but I think they showed too much. What they should of done is did a flash back as he's slowly entering the prison or chasing the group through the streets because lets face it, the prison isn't safe anymore. Too many holes; lost a lot of workers on the fence line and moral probably isn't too high. I agree with one poster on the AMC: TWD comment section of last episode, they should load up the bus and move.

This season as a whole has been kind of boring. It has it's moments, but compared to the first two seasons not a whole lot is happening. Seems like more character development than anything. Character development is boring. I want to see people get their faces eaten.

Thing is, without character development the show itself wouldn't be called a show. It'd be called a poor mans endless movie. Without character development it wouldn't show emotions, mercy, etc. It shows how to survive with other survivors. Surviving against zombies is one thing, surviving ones own humanity inside an apocalyptic world is another. Look at how Rick lost it, Shane, and the Governor, etc. Zombies aren't the only thing to be afraid of. It shows the human condition.

Seriously though, I get why they do that stuff. I just don't like it. I watch for the zombies, not the soap opera. Is it just me or has his kid lasted way too long? It's about time that twerp took a couple canines to the cranium.

Okay, I want to join this discussion now, cause I really need to say this
The story seems to be dying after season 2. Season 1 was the best, season 2 not so great, 3 brought it back to life, but season 4 so far is just a timewaste.. I hate the governor, and the past two episode almost bored me to death!

WHY am I watching this show still then? Easy peasy: Zambies getting pinned down by Darryll. More action, less drama!

I think they're just trying to build a story arc of how the Governor has been handling out in the apocalypse. The action is coming guys, you're just gonna have to wait.
