I am putting this up for reference purposes incase anyone else has similar issues that they can get a potential diagnosis from the story. It was already resolved and the power supply is being replaced in a few days.
So this week my desktop decided to behave badly . First a fan stops working. After i replaced it the computer usb and video card ran oddly sluggish so i rechecked wires and restarted it problem solved( though i was bit skeptical checking wires fixed it as it was not really loose. Next day my cpu fan starts making odd noises as if its working then not. Lowered fan speed to see why then raised it and noise stopped. Following day again the Video card fan does the same thing.
After the video card i became really suspicious that the power supply itself was the culprit. After checking it under regular load nothing found so i decided to benchmark it. 10 min later nothing so I tried furmark to bench it even harder. A high pitch noise came from the case but wasn't any of the fans and the video card began to fluctuate as well as the 12 volt rail and power supply rail. Sure enough it was the power supply.
