Battlefield 4 plugin problems

So, last night I had to do some rebuilding and updated my computer to windows 8.1 and put in an ssd but now I can't play battlefield it says I need a plugin everytime I try to join a server but I've saved it and ran it but it won't let me play any suggestions?

When I upgraded to Windows 8.1 it broke my sound driver. I had to reinstall and reconfigure my sound. This prevented certain games from launching and they all gave me different error codes. I don't know if your problem is related, but it's a possibility. Double check all of your drivers and make sure that the upgrade didn't break any of them.

When I installed windows 8.1 it said I was missing dx11.dll fille and I wasnt able to play bf3.I just uninstalled bf3 and download it again, that managed to fix it

Try this Dib.

1. Close the browser
2. Close origin
3. Go to Programs in Control Panel
4. Uninstall the plug-in
5. Re-install the plug-in from the file you downloaded (you probably downloaded it 5 or 6 times like I did)
6. Restart PC for changes to take effect
7. ***Important*** Do not log into Origin!!
8. Open the web browser itself
9. Navigate here to the site and use THAT log in first. It should auto start Origin and away you go.

This is for BF3, but I imagine it should be the same for BF4

I'm just trying to uninstall the whole game and origin first then reinstall and if that doesn't work I'll try yours super

Good news everyone! I got it to let me into servers, I had to disable windows defender but it worked but I do have a question that maybe someone can help me with, is there a way to favorite a server from the server's page, not the server browser page?
