I just want to say thank you to everyone in eGO, but especially to those of you in the CS Division. Why now and what for? Well, to be honest, I've been catching myself thinking about this community over the last few days even when I'm out and about. When I say thinking about this community, I mean more than usual and it puts a smile on my face. I guess you could say this is my mushy side coming out a bit, but don't get comfy because I'll still snipe you in the face while being your best friend lol.
To clarify further, the main reason I wanted to say thanks is because over the past 13+ years I've played CS, this has been the best community I have ever had the privilege of assimilating into. Back when I joined, albeit not that long ago, I stuck to the Office server and never came in Ventrilo, didn't go to events or post on the forums much. I was virtually an unknown and only knew a few members because I stuck to one server. However, once I finally stopped being a hermit and expanded to other servers and checked the forums more, I saw how much more this place had to offer.
I'm thankful for all the people in this community I've met thus far, and will continue to meet in the years to come. I think of all of you as good friends. I don't have to feel awkward, quiet or left out around you all, and it's a great feeling. Ironic that a game where we shoot each other and blow each other up with bombs unites us and forms bonds, but hey, that's the beauty of it. It feels like the couple years I've been on eGO servers has gone by in a flash, but I honestly can't complain. I feel right at home here, and I will make sure to return the favor in one way or another some day. So one last time,
