Video card not good enough?

Testing my ability to play other games, I use the System Requirements Lab site to see if my comp can run certain games. I tested it for CoD4, and it says my card isn't up to snuff (it's a GeForce 6150 LE that came with the computer). However, when I look at the "Video Card Features" part, I pass all of those. So does my video card not being a newer model matter?
 
Minimum Spec for CoD4:
* CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM) 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better supported
* RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista
* Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
* Video card: NVIDIA(R) Geforce(TM) 6600 or better or ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro or better

Your video card does not meet the minimum requirements

Recommend specs CoD4:
* CPU: 2.4 GHz dual core or better is recommended
* RAM: 1G for XP; 2G for Vista is recommended
* Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
* Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better
 
the lower 6k series doesnt even work w/ it (unless u put everything low & turn off shadows), check ur motherboard & find out what the video slot is (either agp or pci-e.
 
6150 LE just doesn't cut it for most games out today. You need to get a dedicated GPU.

I doubt its a agp board,unless it was made before 2005.dont get agp card there crap now plus most dont support shader model 3.0.the best one on that page is the 3850 and its way over priced.+ATI dont make drivers for agp cards any more...and the makers of the card dont make driver period.

I think its time for an upgrade. Depending on what your budget is, you can get a 4850 for around 150 bucks

I have an ATI X1650 on one of my boxes and the latest drivers are from 12/10/2008. Do you have an official news link that they dropped driver support for AGP? I didnt know.

I only suggested AGP cause a lot of people have a shoestring budget in here and thats the cheapest route if the board is indeed agp.

I am trying to figure out where to get the $$ to upgrade two of my aging AGP boards.

You may be right about the AGP thing. I looked up the chipset and it looks like it may be PCIe: http://www.nvidia.com/page/gpu_mobo_tech_specs.html

they stopped making drivers for agps when they stopped making agp card.notice you wont find a ATI 3850 agp.sapphire was the last maker of the agp cards.and they dont have drivers they have hotfixes and suggest using old omega drivers.I know cause I went threw this when i had a agp board and didnt fell like building a new rig so I got the sapphire 3850 512 agp,and was told by there support that ATI dosent support or make drivers for agp cards use older omegas cause they dont make agp cards anymore.
And wasent satisfied at all with the performance of the card.sent it back,put my old x850 pro256 in,saved my pennies and built my current rig.
