If you have a lousy =P 680i Mobo from Evga.
They have allowed you to step up to the newest 780i to accept the newest up comming 45mm processors.
The 680i will support the 45 series dual core. But apparently not the Quad core 45, which has created a huge stink on their forums. A few reasons why it sucked.
But nonetheless, its available. Go register your e-vga 680i mobo, and follow the steps to upgrade it to a 780i.
It does cost you, but its well worth it to get a few more years of future use, epecially with the up comming latest quad 45 processors.
