Battlefield 4 Getting Started

Hey Guys,

I'm a Call of Duty gamer, I used to be an "eGO" in the COD division. Since it was removed, i've just been lingering on the forums feeling a bit out of place in edge-gamers.

I'm a competition gamer, I played in a lot of tournaments in call of duty ( CAL, Cevo, etc... ) I was also on the cod comp team when it existed.

Anyway, my point is i'm a fairly good FPS gamer and i'm new to BF4. It's much different than cod, and I seem to be getting my butt kicked. I was hoping for someone to help me get started.

I don't want to feel out of place in eGO anymore, and I hope to get plugged into the battlefield division. I've never transferred divisions, I have also never met anyone in the battlefield division. Since the "COD" division is non-existent anymore, I am not sure where to go and hope to find a new place as a battlefield player.

Could someone aid me in getting started? Do people scrim a lot in BF4, like cod? I miss the strategy, competition, tournaments.... man i miss promod...

Talk to just about anyone here, most will know enough to help you out. And friend a bunch of people on origin so you can play with them on the servers and then teach you how to own some pubbers.

I agree with Dib. It's actually pretty easy to pick up in terms of controls and what not. Just takes some getting used to since you played COD. Also welcome

A tip I always give to people who start playing BF, is always shoot arround 3 bullets at a time while killing people, never hold the mouse, only at a very close distance. And be more carefull, people from DOD, COD, TF usually run arround like their live isn't valuable, walk slowly, keep looking around, just be carefull in game
