Am I the only one who finds names that are 'pimped' extremely obnoxious, pretentious, immature, and downright stupid? Especially when people use them in Steam. Some of us do not use Windows, and therefore cannot properly see the special characters, so when I play any multiplayer Steam game, and people use 'pimped' names, all I see are blank names..

An example of this would be Rawr's name. Until a few days ago, I thought his name was Raw, because the last 'r' in his name is backwards (a special character), and it is a blank character on my screen.

This can probably be solved by downloading more pointless fonts, but eh...

Usually the 'd' comes before the 'g', Edge.

I concur, but if in my opinion, if they want their name like that, go ahead.


Guys, a REALLY easy way to do this stuff: Go to Microsoft word if you have it, insert, characters and symbols, then pick the letters.

Agreed, in my opinion they tend to get a little annoying. One character may be fine, but all of them... please no.

IMO one character in a name looks alot better than the entire name. Some of them (edge's for instance) gets extremely hard to read.

Apparently: Pimp Name = I can't recognize it. So with that said here is mine:

As for neofito, it looks as if you crave attention and will do much to get that; including follow any ridiculous trend started by a pompous (I am just throwing words in now) pre-pubescent, defenestrating child. And naturally, I do not mean to offend anyone what so ever ^_^

As to those of you who know what I just said means, yes, he jumps out windows.
