Planetside 2 - Performance Update

SOE developers halted content development and spent over three months completely rewriting the game, with impressive results. Most players are reporting an average of a 30% performance increase.

So if you have played the game in the past and quit due to performance issues or are just looking for a new game to play, then be sure to join eGO as we battle for domination with the Terran Republic on the Waterson server. Awesome, I'll definitely be giving this another try then. Performance issues were the sole reason I had to take my leave, especially considering how powerful my computer is, and I just couldn't handle it.

Alpha tested this game. Played on mattherson with the enclave but left due to extremely poor optimization. Might give it another go and see if they'll transfer my character I dont fancy starting all over again :/.

Which Battle Rank did you hit on Matherson? You can reach BR20 within a week if you play a few hours each day.

BR 25 but i had alot of weapons i payed to unlock on that character. This was before account wide unlocks and they don't carry over to new characters :/. Fighting with no cert unlocks vs people with full gear does not make for a fun experience.

The performance increase for me has been massive, definitely enjoying the game a lot more. Now if I just knew what the heck I was doing.
