Red Orchestra/Rising Storm on sale (Steam daily deal)

[Mavwreck]

A bunch of our division's members really enjoy playing Red Orchestra 2 - and especially its multiplayer extension, Rising Storm. It's a great WW2 shooter, though it's a bit more complicated than DoD:S. If you don't have the game, it's on sale right now - there's a 75% off Daily Deal sale for the rest of the weekend (through 10am PST on Monday, 11/25).

For more info, check out the games in Steam:

• Rising Storm (includes the Red Orchestra 2 multiplayer content)
• Red Orchestra 2 (single-player & original multiplayer)
• Red Orchestra
• the Franchise Pack (all these games)

Hope to see you in-game soon!

It's definitely worth picking up if its cheap. If you buy Rising Storm, you automatically get Red Orchestra 2, but not the other way around, I dont think. 2 games for 75% off... I am enjoying that game immensely, as many of us still are... You will not be alone playing, thats for sure.

By the way, the sale price is $4.99, you can not go wrong. If someone really wants it and cant afford it, I will gift it to you. Just give me your steam name.

I bought Red Orchestra 2 back when it came out, but only played it a few times. It was indeed complicated to get used to, but probably because the feel is particularly different than other shooters. It's a great game aesthetically, so I think now that it's on sale and more eGO members are playing it, I'll pick it back up. As for Rising Storm, I might get it soon if I end up liking RO2 more.

I LOVED the first RO. I was so sad when it started to die out. Glad to hear people are on though. Going to pick up over the holiday week even if it is on sale. Would be awesome to get some eGO influence out there for RO2. EXCITEMENT!
