Introducing Legend's NFL Game Picks Contest!

The game is simple - pick the winner for each NFL game every week. Every correct pick will earn you one point. The person with the most points at the end of the season will win themselves some fancy prizes.

Prizes:

Rules:
All picks must be made before the first game of the week.
Any submissions after game time will not be accepted.
You will not be able to edit your post after the first game kicks off.
Any edits made to your post after the first game kicks off will disqualify your entries.

In the event of a tie at the end of the season, a tie breaker will be made during the Super Bowl.

Serious question though. What caused the downfall of the Texans? They were doing good last year, and people thought that they were going to be Super Bowl contenders for this year.

Hmm.. I didn't notice that. It shouldn't screw things up. Legend would just have to change what his parser looks for

Serious question though. What caused the downfall of the Texans? They were doing good last year, and people thought that they were going to be Super Bowl contenders for this year.

No doubt! I grew up in Dallas, but now live just south of Houston. I get a TOOON of crap (even though there are almost as many Dallas fans here as Texan fans).

But that's all I hear anymore..."What the hell is going on??"

Personally? Once they lost a couple of games and saw how the colts were playing (at the start of the season), I think they decided they really needed a quality franchise quarterback, and decided to shoot for that number one pick.

It's what I would do. Once you realize your not making the playoffs and you NEED a very high first round draft.. I'd tank it on purpose. Start planning for the future.

I really dont think that they are a bad team. the last 5 games theyve lost by only 1, 3, 3, 5, and 7 respectively. But they really have an inability to turn the ball over (only 4 INT on the year) and their offense doesnt excel, they dont really have a go-to guy right now. I would pick them to beat my giants.
