Hey guys Mu here, since its Thanksgiving I thought I would share my thoughts on what happiness means to me and how I approach life in general. The thoughts I am going to share are a matter of personal opinion and feel free to make your own opinions on the subject.
Money does not create happiness. Money is simply pieces of paper manufactured by a system of people. Unfortunately, unlike toys we play with as children, the need for money we never grow out of. Money is an ever present entity that knocks on our door when we have to pay rent, or feed our family. We associate these thoughts with money however it is all simply in our mind. The money isn't really what we are chasing but instead we are chasing the abondance that money provides. As a child growing up, I would always ask for the very best toys that money could buy. Unfortunately, the more toys I had never brought equal happiness. I was always left unfulfilled and always in search for the next great toy that could be bought. I feel like adults grow up to be the same way. We are always searching for the next product that will bring us that small amount of contemptment but never truly satisy us. Money, comes and goes, and as we work our 9 to 5 jobs for the money we so desperately need. I feel people should step back from their jobs and reflect on why are they working jobs they aren't enjoying and spending time on projects that dont bring them happiness. The fact of the matter is money will never bring happiness. For example, if I own 10 burning team captain's is that going to make me any more happy compared to a person owning a gibus. It might bring a small amount of contemptment in the beginning but it will all soon fade and all you will be left with is the idea you are richer than everyone else.
The main source of happiness for me, comes from my family. I feel like family is ultimately the key to happiness. Being thankful for the people around you is a truly empowering feeling. As I look around my dinner table, I see the smiles on my family's face and the joy of simply just being together is greater than any amount of money I could ever possess. Unlike money or items, family will always be their for you when your depressed or angry. Even if your family is small, like me, it truly doesn't matter as long as you have a single person that cares about you.
The second source of happiness for me is doing what you truly enjoy. For me, what I truly enjoy is playing Team Fortress 2 and livestreaming my gameplay. I have quit my job and made Team Fortress 2 the center of my life. Some may think this man is crazy and how is he supposed to pay his bills with no job. Well, I try not to think of those things. Instead, I focus on what I'm passionate about and I believe tf2 livestreaming will be able to take care of me in the long run. Everyday I get to wake up and play my favorite computer game of all time. I am following my passion and doing what I love a career. I have a lot of faith and I truly believe if you do what you love you will ultimately be fulfilled more than a person who works a regular 9 to 5 job that they despise.
The third key to happiness for me is having a girl to fulfill those sexual needs that every man has. For me when I have sex with my girlfriend I feel 10 times better and fulfilled. When I don't have a girl in my life I feel depressed and sometimes spiteful. Doing, whatever it takes to get that female presence in your life is important for growth and progress. I have learned that gaming has taken a large portion of my life and is important to get some social interaction with the opposite sex. Having that female energy is a big point to making you grow and progress.
Ultimately, money does not create happiness but instead it comes from the inside. You have to find the things that make you happy, and go full force to make those dreams come true. You have to take risks and not be afraid to take on challenges even if you know you will be laughed at or made fun off. You have to be brave and say I don't care if they think im weird or strange, I know what I want and I'm commited 100% to it.
