I've had them for 4 months, so it's hard to say for durability. They still look brand new, with no wear on the wires or the headset itself. But, this is to be expected with only 4 months of use. The wire is medium quality, it's not the nice braided wire like my mouse has but it is a thicker rubber coated wire. The cushioning on the ears and top strap are a soft velvety material that is very comfortable, though they do pick up a bit of dust. It kind of gathers on the edges and I pick it off like lint every so often, maybe once a month or so. So, nothing too bad. The top strap's adjustment comes out of each ear piece, and it's pretty stiff. I had a little bit of a problem getting it to fit just right because when you pull them it's hard to get it to go just one click and not pull it all the way out or push it all the way in because of the force needed. However, once you get them set they're good to go because of this stiffness. I don't need to adjust them every time I wear them like I have with looser headsets. The one thing I would change about them is the controls on the left ear piece. I never use them, as it's easier for me to use the controls on my keyboard, and they are positioned right where it's natural for me to grab the headphones to put them on. When I first got them there were several times where I would be holding the volume down control while putting them on, so by the time I got them on my head the sound was muted. It looks like a volume knob, but it's a rocker where you hold it one way or the other and it changes the volume up and down accordingly. It plays a tone to let you know what volume you're at, so there's no guesswork on turning the volume up and having it blast your ears out. Not bad, I just don't use it because I don't like reaching up to my ear to change the volume. I've also accidentally muted the microphone putting them on, which is a slight annoyance as it takes a little bit to figure out that people can't hear me. After a couple weeks I had learned to pick them up in a way where my hand was away from the controls and I haven't had a problem since.
This is everything I could think to include. If there's any more questions I'd be happy to answer them. I'm sure there's better headsets out there, but from a value for your money standpoint I'm very happy with this set.
