2007 to me seems like the best year in gaming ever. Big releases and big hits. TF2, Halo 3, COD4, Mario Galaxy, Bioshock, Portal, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect..... the list goes on. In all the years I've been playing games, this past year seems like it was the strongest year yet.

What do y'all think?

I agree. The one thing that could have made it better would have been Super Smash Brothers: Brawl.

This year was just crazy with games. It has to be one of the biggest years in gaming, if not THE biggest

Yeah, I agree that it is the best year of gaming so far this decade. Theres been stark improvements on both Next Gen console. We are about to see the true muscle of each console thats about to come out. Then the P.C took a huge jump with games like Crysis and Call Of Duty 4. Which we I think we can all agree the the computer kicks the socks off any console thus far. Still, wouldn't mind seeing a couple of games from x-box come over to pc land.

I totally agree this year came out with so many outstanding games. My favorite of all was the Orange Box, besides the fact that I hate Half Life. I love assassin's creed I play anytime I'm not on the computer. Lets just wait and see what 2008 brings us.............

The Day Starcraft Came Out > 2007.
ONE of the best gaming years YET.

Crysis is a great game also, bring any computer to its knees graphic wise.

Well considering i have 2 new consoles, I lost my girlfriend and im completely broke then yes it was a great year.

For me I am a huge RPG fan but it seems like that genre is going almost solely towards the mmos. Whats wrong with mmos you might say? Well for one they are too addicting and way too much of a time sink for someone with a family that they want to keep. I miss the days of Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Torment, and the other classics.

For me 2008 is going to be a better year, Frontlines: Fuel of war, Sins of a Solar Empire, and tons of Sam and max just in January and February.

%100 agree with you Yankee, I miss the good old days of Bioware games as well. Though you forgot the Fallout games! I also think Morrowind is an excellent CRPG too, much better than that horrible game called Oblivion.

man, I remember when my cousins and I make starcraft tournaments every weekend, we ordered pizza and coke for the whole weekend.

Yeah, the movies, too!

Transformers etc.

BUT, 2008 is going to be better.

THE SEQUEL!

....Oh, here we come TOOTHOUSAND8!

Yet with all these great games coming out, I still find myself dedicating insane amounts of time to TF2. Its funny how a simple multiplayer game can draw more players in than an uber detailed 70 hour long game. Although my new xbox 360 is awesome.
