I probably wont play TF2 for awhile!

I probably wont play TF2 for awhile because my game crashes.. The crash is because i had window mode and patched my game. I know atleast 1 more has this problem and i tried reinstalling the game but it dident work. So im gonna wait for the next patch :/

EDIT : Nevermind! I found the problem.. i just changed my screen resolution to maximum, then i changed it to "Fullscreen" ingame!

EDIT2: Ok it has something to do with the resolution ingame in options!

EDIT3: When im changing it to fullscreen in options it doesnt get fullscreen when you turn on the game next time.

Explain.. When i turn my Team Fortress 2 on it crashes before it starts. Its because i used "Windowed mode" and then i patched the game... But when i change my screen resolution to maximum it works. Then i go in to options and change it to full screen mod and apply. But when i restart the game its still windowed mode :/

So yes i can play but i need to go to my options and change it to Fullscreen everytime

Strange, I always play in windowed mode at 1280x1024. (Also my screen resolution)
Never had any problems after patches.

You could try deleting local content and deleting your "team fortress" directory in SteamApps.

If you want it fullscreen always, try this.. (if you didn't already know)

Go to Steam, My Games. Right click 'Team Fortress 2' and click Properties. Click 'Set Launch Options..'

Is "-window" there? Remove that part if so.
