Blue, it is in fact a very sad day for not only the DOD:S division but eGO as a whole. You were a beacon of infallible logic to us for so long. You always brought sound reason and logic to our discussions as well as a uniquely "Blue" perspective. If I am being completely honest, I think the thing I will miss most is reading your responses to people who had contested a ban - you always had a way to make people look completely ridiculous.
Although we never got overly on personal terms I always found playing with and against you, especially on Anzio, to be highly rewarding. Whether that came from an extremely satisfying rocket kill at bridge or working together to pick apart their defenses, I have always enjoyed playing with you. Hopefully you continue to frequent our realism nights whenever you find some extra time - I understand how stressful it can be balancing academics with, well, anything not school!
What was supposed to be a quick send off quickly turned into a semi-long winded speech. Blue, good luck with wherever life takes you. You are talented, and damn are you intelligent! You will no doubt go on to do many great things. I will leave you with two quotes that have meant a great deal to me over the years.

I have always held that passage of Lord Tennyson's poem Ulysses close to the chest and I think what it says is that while it's tempting to take the easy road, the safe road, the more we are willing to risk the more alive we are. In the end, what we regret most, are the opportunities we did not take, the risks we said were too high. And yes everyone jumping the gun, I know it was in Skyfall, it was, however, around a long time before that movie came out.
"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king."
Again, the meaning of this poem is debatable, but I have always taken it at what might be considered 'face' value and much the same as Ulysses. Go for it, grab life by the horns and make it yours. Adventure, wander, see the world, but, in the end, we will still be here, this is home. We will all miss you, you are a great DOD:S player, a great leader, and a great person.
