Need to cool down my components.

My cpu spikes to 60 when i get into games. I am warrantying my mobo because blown pci express, and want to play bf3 for a few days till they write back.

So i need to a way to cool down my cpu, its stock cooler, which i will be getting most likely a evo and 2 fans. 1 for the top and one for the side.


I have the fans top and side right now, and i will most likely move it to top and back, like it was before because the fan doesn't really need to cool the gpu as much as the cpu.

Just want thoughts.

Well it goes 60 to 70 in 3 seconds flat. Then i don't want it to do that and get hotter.

Need a cpu cooler for less than 30, or a little bit higher than 30 like 31.99 I was looking at the hyper 212+ evo and then nzxt has one and another cooler master.
I will also be getting 4 cooler master fans.

If you plan on getting so many fans, why not just go water cooled?

Money constraints.. Thats why not nocuta or h100. I was just thinking about my future water cooled machines.. Can't wait..

Closed loop water cooling isn't much better than comparably priced air coolers anyway.

If anything I would dust your case and read up on airflow. Or tell us what case you have and where the fans are located.

I'm just suggesting that your stock cooler is fine as long as you're not overclocking. Maybe look at your thermal paste or case airflow.

Apply some new thermal paste onto it, if you do it correctly it will evenly distribute the heat. When was the last time you applied it?

Like middle of october, but im going to reapply it since i'm sending back my asrock board because of blown pci slot..

Hi bud... tbh I think your headed towards the wrong direction... remove and reapply some thermal grease/paste. clean the fan properly to remove all the dust bunnies... wipe down the other components and see what the result is. A stock cooler should be fine if your not heavily over clocking. Don't buy into the hype.
