Battlefield 4 BF4 EdgeGamers Members VIP Slots?

Is this something that's going to be offered to eGO members when joining servers or just a select few (like admins). It's not that big of an issue. I have mixed feelings about using the VIP Member function because it kicks people and then they have to wait or might get mad and stop using the server, plus the Queue wait is usually not that long (maybe like 5mins and I just watch YouTube until I get in). But I also think it's kind of good for members to have so when the wait DOES take forever, it doesn't... Idk. Comments? Or a leadership answer?

And I'll add a poll as is my little "tradition" every time I make a thread.

And of course there are limitations so people can't just join eGO and freeload VIP slots.

I voted for everyone to have a reserved slot out of fairness, but I can see how this would be frustrating because I've had a few great games and got booted for a VIP player. Most of the time the eGO server is empty or I get an invite and we start playing and it fills up. During peak hours I would recommend having admin VIP slots and just post it in the server notification thingamabobber. They need to be able to get in and do their job of scanning for hackers/glitchers and what not. Always someone on the 3rd floor at C, I wish we could do a !votekick for the glitchers.

Personally, I wish there were a way for crash victims to get VIP slots since it's not their fault they left... so like if you leave the server then rejoin within a certain amount of time, you get priority

I voted for admins only, but only because sometimes we need an admin or two on the servers, but personally I don't think its a great idea to have VIP slots because it can really be a bummer when you are playing and you get kicked for a "VIP" or "FSO" (Friend of Server Owner).

I voted admins only and above. Due to the situation stated already if there was a trouble maker on the server and no admins was on the server already. Where does it say in that post that someone will get kicked? Didn't BF2 have a reserved slot system and wasn't that just an extra 2 or 4 slots for the people on the list? It didn't actually kick anybody. Just didn't allow anybody to join in those slots if they wasn't on the list. I think that is how it worked anyway.

I agree with admin only as well. I have never banned anyone before in the CS:S servers lol. The day after I received my admin training here, I had to do my first ban lol. On top of that, I had to queue in because I got message that there was someone spewing racist remarks on the all population server. Guess what the queue number was? 7.

I vote no because as stated earlier it makes some angry. I have been kicked on other servers for VIP slots and I don't go back to those servers. Just sayin'..................................

Unfortunately, there's no way to identify whether a player crashes versus them simply leaving the server.

Personally, I think this is an altogether bad idea. As far as adminning goes, most of the time, we have a least one admin already in each of our servers or a leadership member who can access procon. On top of that, servers with paid reserved slots are forced to randomly kick another player, and to be on the negative end of that situation is simply a buzzkill. Also, as far as adding slots for all eGO members...by extending the offer to all eGO members, you're putting our members above pubs. To me, this just offers a narcissistic view of our clan to the general public, and honestly requires no dedication or time to achieve.

I always liked to read things like "Sorry. You have been removed from the Server due to a VIP Member joining. Please join us again when there will be sufficient room. Thank you"


When being kicked from a Server .. I always came back lol .. well I am a nice guy in general and hard to get mad anyways lol ..

I voted that all eGO members have a VIP slot, but I think that it should be admins or no one. VIP slots for admins would allow for admins to get into the game immediately and lay down the ban hammer, but at the same time, Kicking others for a reserved slot may result in them not coming back to the server. I like playing on the servers, but I can also wait a few minutes to get in.
