Does anyone here fully understand how to increase SPM and Skill? I always try to get squad leader position and accept/request orders often, throw down medic packs and revive when I get the chance, that's while dodging grenades which I've at times become fond of. But the kicker is I can't get a higher SPM then upwards of 700 once in awhile, and I notice some players getting 1.7k consistently so I must be doing something wrong?

As far as noobly I think after 40 hours of playing I am nearing some type of master marksman with the ACE 23, M416, and my pistol. I would like to hear from some veterans though on some great tips or advice to help me better serve my team/squad so I can get my gosh darn win ration higher, I find losing match after match after match is really starting to bother me.

So here is what I know and some tips that I follow:
  • Always Check Mini-Map
  • Have Medic Pack Out All THE TIME
  • Sprint when plenty of cover but never around a corner
  • Corner with as little exposure as possible
  • I do try to chat in game but nobody seems to understand what FLANK means
  • Lastly I almost always burst fire my gun to control spread

I typically go with a setup for my gun that suits me, but I think I may have to pick up the AEK for the rate of fire since I play mostly Lockers all of the time, I just love the close quarters no vehicle play. I can't seem to get in a game to get my vehicle unlocks so I gave up trying, I do go on the test range and fly often because I like practicing that, I also test the recoil on my gun to perfect shooting it.

Looking forward to some great discussion here :P

Best thing for me is being a combat medic which allows for 2 medpacks to be dropped at any given time. When I am playing locker, I will have a medpack down on the bottom and top floor when fighting outside of C. Make sure you place them away from the doors so the nades do not destroy them while you are away from them. It is also the place were people jump away from incoming nades. Lastly I always drop a medpack down on dead bodies and then revive them. That will usually get me 20 points revive and 40-80 heal per revival. It is important to stay alive so the points keep ticking on your medpacks while maintaining at least 1 kill a minute.

Skill is much harder to maintain and will drive anyone insane. The best I have ever had was 480 from playing Locker. I ended up losing 3 matches in a row and lost over 100 skill. One was an empty server that never filled. One was the last 2 minutes of a round and the final one was server filling were I didn't get too many kills. From what I can tell it focuses on K:D in a match as well as W/L factors at the end of each round.

SPM is affected by the XP boosts, so since I played a lot during double XP week with XP boosts my SPM is higher than normal. Having an SL give out orders and the squad following them vastly increases points as well.

Skill is very arbitrary from what I've seen too. I randomly go negative and positive.

1. Switch to the winning team always..
2. Find big groups of your teammates on lockers who are at a stalemate and drop ammo / health
while shooting other ammo / healthpacks that aren't your own..
3. Always join the squad that is doing the best K:D Ratio & Points-wise..

That should do it :D

I find you can have great kdr games but for your skill to actually go up and stay up you have to consistently be involved with fulfilling objectives, being useful to your team and also maintaining a decent kill-death.

Playing with eGO guys on vent really helps to jack it up :P

#1 isn't always possible but I do try to get out of a streak of losses by doing this when the server allows it.

#2 I admit I've done this especially if someone drops one right on mine, I think it's territorial to say the least lol.

The list of 22 is great and I strive to follow that, I spent about 3 hours last night in the test range just on flying and trying to learn recon sniping.

I'm thinking about just quitting matches that are overkill or stacked and going elsewhere, unless the quit % is calculated in something.
