Question for everyone

We've all seen the posts, whats your favorite server, or your favorite gun, or your favorite map. I am interested in what is your favorite map/server, but I want to know why.

Example

My favorite map is de_highschool. I find that a lot of eGO's more skilled players play on that server when populated so more of a challenge to help me get better. I also enjoy scouting and with that map so wide open as is, I get a better chance at working on my accuracy, thus I get more headshots. It's also such a big map with many ways of getting around that even on a full server, its not like any of our other servers where when full, its like a stampede from the other team and you get run over. Lastly, I have had plenty of fun times in highschool with members, being tripleREC's bullet sponge, getting headshot by meow, getting mowed down with para by plenty of guys lol.

So do share ladies and gentlemen as I'd love to hear.

I like cs_Italy

Because killing CTs in that map is easy.

But I, too, love to play on the Highschool server every now and then. I was born on that server... That's where I got my eGO Counter Strike tag when I joined! I was recruited in Insurgency about 4 years ago, and decided to join the CS:S division a year afterwards! I played on HS and in Jail for.... 2-3 years, then for this past year I've dedicated my gaming time to cs_Italy. I've met a ton of members along the way, made new friends, learned new things, etc.

It's been a great journey for me!

I do like Highschool alot more then the rest of them. Reason is I think the map itself is more even of a map then most.

It's bomb sites give even playing field to both sides.

It is true when it has players most of them are better players. I see alot of the assassin clan there with full ego players not just e players.

When eGO had a cs_assault server. assault was the second Counter-Strike map I ever played (after de_dust) and I fell in love with it. Just the layout of the map always made it fun for me to play, and I never saw hostages being rescued, always one side killing the other side

My favorite server is Jail, because I suck at everything else when running at 10fps. I do like highschool a lot though. It's good for close combat, and sniping.

Dust 2 is my favorite map. But there are different variations of Dust2 that I love equally as much. Dust 2 Unlimited and Dust2_pro for instance are open maps. You can't camp with open doorways and passage ways by both spawns that weren't there before.... so the second the round starts, you BETTER run.. lol. Then there are theme maps like Dust2_mariostyle, and dust2_xmas that are mapped out the same, just have different paint on the walls. It's nice to look at.

Hmm well for me it's a mix of both Jail/Highschool. I can't decide between the two.

My reasoning? On Jail it's just a fun place to go and not worry about competitive play or who has the highest score or anything like that. It's a place just to relax and have fun!

On Highschool I love it because it's different from any of the other servers/maps we have. It's layout is completely different and I don't find myself being rolled by the whole enemy team after 10 seconds. I also find that after awhile, like Imak. The more skilled players enjoy coming to that server after it's populated and it's a great way to test how good I am and how well I can aim and pull the trigger before them!

My favorite map is Cs_office. Mainly because it can be really even depending on how many people are playing at the time or how the people are playing. Both teams can be easily over run by each other but if it's a small game it can be a really good fight and a really good match.

hi. i am meowcenaries. i like highschool and zombie mod.

1. The new Highschool doesn't appease to me as much as the older version. ( Ticked that they took off the RTV, but oh well ). It is an even mapping style and you can play on either team and still be able to work your way around the map without getting stuck in projector or apartments. Blowing off people's heads is fun.

2. Zombie mod, because all zombie mod maps are made by gods.

Good question Imak. I have always preferred Italy because of the difficulty. 95% of the time I will play CT because they are at such a disadvantage. The challenging aspect is what drives me to like this map and, in turn, the team selection. Adversely, playing T on Italy does not do much for me. I see people only playing T on this map and the only thing I can conclude is that they are concerned about their kdr and they enjoy the ease of killing CTs. I am speaking in generalities so I am sure there are other reasons. T is not my cup of tea. No pun intended. I prefer to be challenged and I like to think it makes me a better player.
