ventrilo push to talk

Hey everyone! So i'm having trouble with my push to talk key. Here is the issue, I use my mouse button 3 to push to talk, however, when I press it in vent it does not work(won't activate). I go into my setup and test it by pushing mouse button 3 and it works. I've tried changing to a keyboard button and running as administrator with no luck...

Actually, I fixed it somehow by deleting my ventrilo profile and making a new one. Anyone have any idea as to what caused this???

No clue. I have used the mouse 3 button for about 10 years as my vent key. The only issue I ever had was the ding when you activate your mic triggering a hundred times really fast. I avoided this by minimizing vent or clicking on something to the side so vent wasn't' highlighted. Glad youre all fixed now though.
