Idea for a new company - 550 Cord Accessories

so ok as most of you realize I'm in the Army, full timer here not reservist. Anyways like most Soldiers I have 550 paracord laying around the house that I use for my gear(helmet mainly). So I had the idea that I should do those 550 cord bracelets for the hell of it, but why stop there? I'm making a gun sling for my M44 Rifle atm and I'm thinking I could make a whole bunch of stuff and sell it.

So I would like to know, if I made one of the following, would you buy it, and at what price?

Bracelet - roughly $5-$7 + s/h
Keychain - $2-$3 + s/h
Rifle Sling - $30-$35 + s/h
Necklace - $10-$15 + s/h

Any other ideas for creations (within reason lol)

and I have to think of a Slogan... For Soldiers By Soldiers? Gun Accessories made by a Soldier? lol something catchy.

Any ideas would help! And please shoot me down if you think this is a startup fail...
 
Heck ill buy the keychain just cause im trying to go for the record. Other than that, you may attract some hunters out there. Not sure how else you can get more business tho.

You might have some luck in the airsoft market, I would be interested in a sling and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
 
Not sure why you'd buy a 550 cord sling for $30 when you can get a real one for about that same price. The other ideas are sound though.
 
I don't know if you're considering making this a business or just something to do with your scraps, but you could set up an Etsy shop.
 
There's companies that already do this... been to the PX/BX recently? lol. As for rifle one points, I think most people end up using more reliable one points than that made from fancy shoe string. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hatin. I was in the military too, but there's a lot more that you can do with your time to make money.
 
Roll bar mounted grab handles for Jeeps. They're big sellers on some of the Jeep forums I frequent.
 
You can put engravable plates in the bracelets/necklaces and people can wear them to honor someone they lost, someone deployed, etc.
