Happy New Years to my fellow gamers/soldier/LEO's. The day is inching closer (Jan 8th) where I will be getting a ACDF done on my cervical spine. Lately I haven't been on much because pain has decided to kick it up a notch and I can't sit here for at least 30 minutes without wanted to go curl up and cry (refused to receive pain medication, due to my job, which will change after surgery **** it bring on the meds.) I hope to be back and ready to run and gun and join the fight soon... Just wanted to drop off a message and let the team know.

Till then, stay frosty check your corners.

Hope it goes well and recovery is a breeze.

Hope all goes as well as can be expected. Good luck bud.

Best wishes in your surgery and a speedy recovery. My last surgery was a few years back - basically had my shoulder replaced. Made gaming a real pain (literally), but had it not been for gaming I would have gone nuts sitting in the house for all that time recovering.

Godspeed!

I've been in that sort of situation many a time. All I can say is hopefully they give you good meds ;) and you're feeling alright afterward.

Thanks for the well wishes going in tomorrow going to see if i can game a bit today cause I'll be craving it when I am all posted up in bed. Again thank you have kept me in a positive mindset.

May you have a speedy recovery; I'm sure you're in good hands!

It's been a week and I am at home. Needless to say this is a pain in the neck, heh... I am able to walk around and start doing somethings on my own again but being able to sit in front of my pc or strap my gun belt on just set seems very distant off on the road. Thank you all for the well wishes and such. I should hopefully be able to play here within the coming days for spurts at a time and so on. As far as the surgery repairing what it needed to I think it did what it needed to do just need a lot of healing a rehab to get me back in the saddle per say. Again thank you all.
