Battlefield 4 Filling the HC server

Guys, a lot of us fought for a long time to try and get this server, and now that we have it I don't see it being played that much. I would like to see it filled and when I try to fill it I have to go to about 3 or 4 different rooms in TS to get it going and then eventually we get just enough people that it does get going but not for very long. So what I'm trying to say is where are the people who tried so hard to get this server going? And why aren't people willing to help fill it? even if its just for a short while so that it gets started then we get some pubs in then those who don't like HC can leave. We do a lot of things really well as a team and when needed we should help each other out so that we can keep what we have and hopefully continue to work to get more. I mean if it weren't for the old HC Aftermath server, I wouldn't be in eGO. It's not that hard to take just a little time to start up a server so it gets going and people join then we can recruit. I would just really hate to see something that so many people asked for disappear. Lets just work together, fill up our servers and get more recruits. So, that's just my humble request that when someone asks to get one or two more people so a server can start up and you are either in a full server or not doing anything at the moment join up and help out.

But as far as the hardcore server.... if Tipton isn't around to get it going, it's going idle.

Personally, I see the hardcore server full more often than the Normal 64p Conquest, but that's just me. Remember, many people are still gone for the holidays, spending time with family and friends or simply living away from campus where they may not have access to their ordinary battlestation or high-speed internet.

I prefer the HC server and always check there before joining the other servers.

So, we just had another almost successful attempt at filling the HC server but it only got going for a few rounds. And this got me thinking, maybe if we add a second game type to play on the HC server, or add the DLC to it. because I think part of the problem is there is no draw to it, there is no appeal, nothing to set it apart from any other HC conquest server. So I just suggest we mix it up a little add something to it, whether its rush, obliteration, domination, China Rising, or some sort of combination, I just really don't want to see this server die.

It's currently listed as custom. That probably doesn't help as it won't come up for people that are searching for hardcore servers. I understand that this is just a "right now" problem, just saying that that might explain some of your difficulty filling it tonight.

yes this is true, we should change it from custom to hardcore.

Sometimes when they crash they show up as custom. If the server is empty I will restart it shortly. I love your enthusiasm for filling this server. I will say adding DLC is appealing BUT it limits the player base to it. We have been exploring other solutions but at the moment the Vanilla approach is the best for long term success.

It should no longer be showing up as custom.

If this server or any other reverts to Custom feel free to PM me on the forums ( I usually get the email notification very quickly ) and I will attempt to fix it as I can do it from my cell phone anywhere. #<3technology

HC server is my favorite. I personally don't enjoy BF4 nearly as much when not on HC mode. I've been cheating on y'all with other HC servers when the eGO one isn't populated.

try a sniper limit and encourage peeps to work as a team it works on the BSM servers there full every day 7 days aweek

I enjoy Hardcore until people start punishing for accidents. That is the most ridiculous tactical and idealogical tomfoolery ever.

Is there a punish/forgive feature on it? If so, how is abuse managed?
