My setup is 100% original from installation, I did make a few tweaks to my video settings from a post I saw on the Steam forums:

The "who killed who" information section is WAY too big but I am reticent to make any changes as I'd hate to find out I modified a file illegally, like a player being linked to PED's in the NFL, I won't take a chance.

But I'm curious if others, especially the pro players are using any UI modifications that would be beneficial to us spray-and-pray pubber types...

Pretty much everything is smaller and the flag capture progress is moved to the bottom right instead of in the middle of the screen.

As far as I know, we are free to change any skins, any appearance of how you want your screen to look. To my knowledge, the only thing you cant do is change any script files to give you an unfair advantage over another player. I have seen some cool weapon skins, and some pretty sweet setups. I think Chuck Norris has some cool ones, that I have seen from screenshots, but that was a while ago.

Also, ask around for some suggestions on how people have their rates set, and add them to the autoexec file where your admin pin is stored. That will help you as well, with the 'run and gun' aspect of your game :)
 
You can mod anything as long as it is only for looks. Scripting processes like aiming t a certain colour is cheating, not modding. Moreover there are sites that you can even make current guns look different. I.e.: my STG-44 looks like an FG-42. I think thats the name. Also my Nazis look like SS and allies look like Ranger Battalions. Sniper looks like a Gehwer and etc. I only really play Wehrmacht in Avalanche though so Wehrmacht is where most my mods are. Anything cosmetic is goodto go.

Places like dodbits, dodmods and etc.

Also I use Insanitys HUD and GUI. black version. it makes the hud less intrusive and keeps my screen clear of anytging except my crosshair and the enemies head.

I'm curious what the guys who are killing me all the time are using. Immortal, Chuck, Lark..etc.etc..you know who you are...

Honestly I use everything default. However it'd most likely be beneficial to remove some of the clutter. The main thing is kill information being way too large apart from that I don't see any issues.

At the end of the day your hud isn't going to shoot the enemy for you
 
Agreed with Immortal, I use the default, I still have the music playing and all. The only things I have changed are my rates which anyone can do easily.

Thanks for feedback guys. Not sure I want to go with smaller who killed who text because I do use that info often to track where people are (Yes, Lark, I mean you)....
