Just wanted to tell everyone to be careful if you're getting this nasty winter storm Indiana is in the middle of. It's supposed to be -20 in my area and have about a foot of snow. If this is coming your way or already has, stay in and be safe!

I haven't heard but its dumping on central Indiana as we speak. I don't watch TV but I did find the projected forecast which can be seen here: http://www.weather.com/news/weather-winter/winter-storm-ion-midwest-snow-bitter-cold-20140103. Scroll about halfway down and it shows some pics of what is heading your way.
Looks like you may get another round. Stock up on groceries and tell work you have "the flu" for the next few days.

Mid-Michigan here: Several area counties (and my city of residence) are in a state of "snow emergency." Even if I laugh at the terminology, that doesn't change the seriousness of the situation. All non-essential travel has been prohibited. Basically everyone has been told to stay home. Even a vast majority of businesses in the city were closed today.
I'm supposed to go to work at 2pm for a mandatory store meeting. I'm waiting to see if it has been canceled.
I will say one thing though, sure looks pretty out!

Currently it's only -9 here with about 7"-8" of snow. Most of Indiana is under snow emergency as well. My work did not cancel, however all but one of the technicians are stuck at the side of the road. And I made it halfway there(I have an hour drive), about ran off the road, got stuck for a bit, and said "I don't think so" and took my butt home where its a comfortable 72. Be safe no matter where you are, we definitely don't want any eGO-No's!!

Yup, just had the cold snap over night. -24?C with a -40?C windchill.
I stopped paying attention when the windchill hit -30, it just doesn't seem to matter after that. I had to work all day in it.....burrrr is right.
Usually I'm just a normal repairman. But today, I'm a ninja assassin!
