Important Server Changes!

Been full most of the day, once it got started I don't think we dropped below 20 players. Typically we drop players changing maps but it fills back up pretty quick.
 
Such a fun change even though I'm a bit sad to see Anzio go :( I'll be popping in there for sure and hoping it stays full even on EU time!

Thanks for the update. I played earlier and it was a new experience having a rotation server. I enjoyed it.
 
Server fully went dead around 2am today. Not bad actually since it's not the weekend.
 
AWWW YEAHHHHH Def going to be hopping on tonight when I get off work. Been on a BF4 binge since Xmas basically. Need to get back in with you people. It is so hard for me to balance games. I get sucked into one and just play it non stop. ANYWAY, hopefully see some of you goons tonight!
 
So for the last few weeks I?ve been playing DoD with my son (JagdMonster). I just got him a steam account so we could play DoD together.

Last night my daughter (JustKitten) asks for an account of her own. So the next thing you know I?m working and she is playing DoD on the laptop next to me. When I get done I load DoD and join her through the Friends tab.

I load the map and say ?Oh, I like this map?. I can?t remember the name at the time but I?m like KEWL!

Then I turn to my daughter and say ?Listen, you might hear some swearing. Just remember that we don?t talk like that?.

She turns to me and says ?It?s OK daddy, it?s an eGO server?

And I?m like WAHT!!?? I hit TAB and so it is?.

Thanks eGO!! For the rotation server and an awesome punk free environment for my daughter and son.

Ha ha thats awesome! I will look out for them and say hello.

So far, I am really enjoying it. One thing I have noticed, is that these stock 'comp' maps are bringing some of the higher level players... I have been getting my butt handed to me, as I lack the map knowledge that they have.

Anyways, up 23 spots in 2 days, you cant really beat that. Im excited to play different maps too.
 
Nice, haven't been on some of these maps. Also haven't been on a rotational server in a long time. Look forward to playing on this server. Not all change is bad.

I wish we could put it on rotation in the coming weeks, perhaps leadership would change it to 13 maps instead of 12. :w00t:

On a good note, it moved up to 58 on rankings.
 
Last night while playing on the Rotation server I actually heard someone say:

“Hey, this is kind of fun not knowing the map!” and he had genuine surprise in his voice like it never occurred to him.

I lol’d
 
Im not sure some of these maps should be on a public rotation server. Multiple times after the map changes to these 'comp' maps the pubs drop. I think we should re-evaluate what maps should stay and which go. Maybe a stock rotation would be good to build and then expand from there.
