When i first sees this i was like yay. Then after giving some thoughts about it, i was like hell no. Hopefully they don't butchered it like in the first season.

I saw this thread topic and automatically knew it was Sword Art Online. I am a big fan of that anime and I have watched all 25 episodes in one day. I have heard that the second part is not that good but in my opinion is that the entire anime is really really good.

I can't wait for the new season of SAO.

I might just re-watch the anime in the next few months just so that I can remember the anime episode to episode.

I'll watch it for the hell of it but people seem to love SAO or abhor it.

So I like to say that on a watchability scale, it's pretty watchable. If you look at the show literally, it's pretty terrible.

I enjoyed reading the light novel much more. Judging from how much more content it has compared to the anime, I'd say the next season of SAO will only do the Gun Gale Online Arc and possibly Mother's Rosario (which is more of an Asuna side story). The arc that it's currently in, which will be the conclusion from what I've been hearing, has enough material for a 25 episode season on its own IMO. It's ridiculous how much has gone on since the SAO days to the current volume lol. I'll watch the new season for sure, but I won't expect much out of it.


Now I need to catch up on the Accel World light novel.. since it's written by the same guy as SAO.


Fun fact: There was a cross-over mini story of Kirito and Haruyuki (from Accel World) that led to an epic fight in the actual Accel World. Even though there was a 22-23 year time gap between the two's own worlds, it was EPIIIIC.
